A multi-half-day workshop for faculty, staff, graduate students, and postdocs at Johns Hopkins and beyond. The workshop introduces education research with a focus on higher education in a hands-on and engaging way. Learn and apply qualitative (e.g., observations, interviews, etc.) and quantitative (e.g., surveys, etc.) methods in a supportive environment with other curious and passionate peers. Values promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and justice in the classroom will be fully integrated into the workshop. As an added bonus, participants can bring their ideas for an optional 30-minute one-on-one consultation meeting with CTEI’s Senior Education Research Consultant, Dr. Melo-Jean Yap.
